1 hour before my son’s Adoption and 1st Birthday Party started I was in desperate need to find someone to fix the cake that was made by another baker. The tiered cake was split in half and could not be displayed. Karen saw my post and immediately whipped up a batch of frosting and came to the party to save the day! She miraculously salvaged the cake to look brand new and without much space to work in. Not only did she come when she wasn’t working but she didn’t charge me. I ordered a large cake for a co-worker's baby shower celebration from the Bakers Rack. From start to finish, Rachel was very accommodating, transparent, and made the process as streamlined and personal as possible! The cake was very professional, exactly as requested, and absolutely delicious. The cake was moist and fresh and received many compliments from all who enjoyed a slice.
Rachel did an amazing job executing my vision! The cake was exactly what I wanted for an intimate cutting cake at our wedding! The raspberry lemon cake was amazing we've been eating everyday since not sure we'll be able to freeze any for our one year! Great to work with, very flexible and I didn't have to worry at all about it getting delivered. Highly recommend great cake and business!
I got engaged this summer and was looking for a local business to make custom cookies for a Catalina Wine Mixer themed engagement party - Rachel/The Baker's Rack was actually referred to me by another business that was unable to satisfy the original order and what a great turn of fate it was! Not only was she proactive and great with communication and follow up but the cookies were DELICIOUS and absolutely beautiful! Our guests were absolutely raving about them and I loved how it added the perfect touch to personalizing the event and giving people a little treat to go home with. I HIGHLY recommend using Rachel for any cookie needs and I'm looking forward to working with her again!
